Yume Minato

A small port town, City S, located in Prefecture T facing the Sea of Japan. It is the hometown of a certain youkai manga artist, and the town is promoting regional revitalization using youkai. Jin Kasasagi and Akatsuka Yamagishi, natives of City S who attend film school in Osaka, return to City S for summer vacation. They decide to make a horror film about the youkai of City S as their graduation project. In this rural town far from the hustle and bustle of the city, together with local friends they have not seen in a while — Ruri Suzuki, Mahiro Mitarai, his younger sister Ei Tomoki — they throw themselves into the youthful work of filmmaking. ……Yet behind these joyful days, a dark shadow draws near. Strange phenomena begin to occur around the protagonists. Eerie legends passed down through the region. A mysterious foreigner who appears and vanishes. An unidentified presence……. Have the protagonists incurred the wrath of the land’s youkai? What secret lies hidden in City S? What will be the outcome of their battle against the attacking youkai!?
